Meet Emily

I was born and raised in the southwest of Western Australia in a family that loved spending time by the ocean. I started my professional career in the wine industry and chased the vintage season across the globe. Often, I would squeeze in a ski season before starting the next vintage. One of those ski seasons landed me in Fernie, BC, Canada where I have now lived for nearly two decades, raising my kids and playing in the mountains.

Where I Find Glimmers

Most days you will find me outside at some point, regardless of the weather. I love to trail run, mountain bike, cross country ski, and I am happiest in and on the water.

Why Specialize in Narcissistic Abuse Treatment?

While "narcissist" may seem like an overused term these days, the fallout from these relationships can not be ignored. When manipulation, gaslighting, or chronic emotional harm have been present, your nervous system learns to stay on high alert - or shut down - to survive. Healing from narcissistic abuse requires more than understanding the dynamics of the relationship. Learning to recognise that your responses are not weaknesses; they are protection. Through somatic coaching, I was able to start my journey of healing, noticing patterns like hypervigilance, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or emotional numbness, to help my nervous system find safety and stability again. Can I help you on your journey of healing?

Gentle, trauma-informed coaching that helps your nervous system feel safe enough to change

From Winemaker to Relationship Coach

After a run-in with the air hose on an airbag press in a winery, I took several years to recover from the ongoing surgeries and PTSD from that accident. I started to learn about the nervous system and discovered there are some surprisingly deep parallels between winemaking and nervous system regulation that continue to show up as I move down this path.

Both are about process, not just outcome. They both require patience, consistency and attention to the unfolding process.

Both require timing and attunement - too early/ too late, or too fast/too slow can ruin the whole outcome.

Both are ecosystems rather than linear systems - you can't isolate one element and expect the whole system to thrive.

Both involve transformation through safe containment and integration.

You must respect the material you're working with - it's not something to "fix".

Both use gentle influence, not force. Force ruins the outcome. Gentle guidance cultivates it.

Both require trust and relationship. Relationship is the medium through which transformation happens.

The best results come from slow maturation - quick fixes are rare; deep change takes time.
