When your nervous system feels safe, healthier relationships become possible

When your nervous system feels safe, healthier relationships become possible

Somatic relationship coaching supports change by working with both the mind and the body's nervous system. Many emotional reactions and relationship patterns aren’t conscious choices—they’re automatic survival responses shaped by past experiences.
Rather than focusing only on talking or mindset shifts, this approach gently includes the body. Through body-based awareness (somatic practices) we pay attention to signals like tension, anxiety, shutdown, or overwhelm, using them as guides for what your nervous system needs to feel safer and more regulated.
Through the practice of trauma-informed coaching, we move at your pace, with choice and respect. There’s no pressure to relive the past or push through discomfort. Instead, we build the capacity to stay present, grounded, and connected. Often that means slowing down before we can speed up the healing process.
Over time, reactions soften, boundaries become clearer, and relationships feel more stable. You begin responding from intention rather than survival—creating change that feels embodied, sustainable, and real.
Somatic relationship coaching is for individuals who would like to try an alternative to, or in addition to, traditional "talk therapy" to resolve relationship issues. It is particularly beneficial for those who feel stuck in repeating, dysfunctional relationship dynamics or who experience emotional and physical disconnection.
It may be your relationship with your partner, your family member, friend, work colleague, or your most important relationship: your SELF.
If you are over-functioning in your relationship, seeking better communication, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, and would like to break old patterns while feeling more grounded, calm and present in difficult conversations, somatic relationship coaching can help you learn to manage, rather than be overwhelmed by, intense emotions.
As a certified somatic trauma-informed relationship coach, I have completed extensive training in areas such as Polyvagal Theory, Positive Psychology, and Internal Family Systems. I am completing further training to become a Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Practitioner, and I am committed to ongoing professional development in these areas.
I help individuals build authentic, emotionally safe relationships through somatic trauma-informed coaching - fostering self-awareness, resilience, and conscious communication while healing past wounds, rebuilding self-trust, and creating compassionate, empowered connections with self and others.
I specialize in somatic trauma-informed relationship coaching, nervous system regulation, Internal Family Systems-informed parts work, and recovery from narcissistic abuse.
Somatic trauma-informed coaching is not therapy and does not replace mental health treatment. Coaching focuses on present-day awareness, nervous system support, and building capacity for choice and self-trust. While this work can be deeply healing, it is not designed to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
If you are currently in crisis or need clinical support, therapy or other mental health services may be a better fit. Coaching can also complement therapy when you have appropriate support in place.
